DAY 66 (JUNE)

what I did today
So I went back to working on the FPS for the last week of wchool and continued work on the forest map because the scaling a were correct there as well I found out that I can't fix the cave unless I make a larger charector,

What I learned
That my cave map is now useless unless I create a charector just for it which would be a waste if time

What I plan for tomorrow
Work in the forest map and get some done for my finial post

DAY 65 (JUNE)

what I did today :
I got in and after a bit more of messin around in the program I was able to look in to the different part of the vehicle as well as messing around with different settings on the vehicle and changed the colour from bright blue to steel as well I found out that the vehicle is all one model

What I learned:
Firstly I learned that the model was all one and that I may need to spend a lot of my time on this if I wanted so I might save it for next year

What I plan for tomorrow:
Going back to the FPS for the rest of the year and what ever I had done will b everything I learned in the semester of this course

DAY 64 (JUNE)

What i did today:
i found out some of the stats between everything one of the first things i need to get done is having a button that flips the car upright after you flip so i am trying to find how i can get it so that it takes your player controller deletes it and responses it up a meter and upright with maybe a counter so that you can't spam it and to penalize it

What i learned:
that even though i would like to make a Fps i doesn't mean i have too

What i planed tomorrow:
to as i stated above found a command that re spawns your character upright if you ever flip


DAY 63 (JUNE)

What i did today
found that the second Car tutorial was very nice with a nice vehicle with suspension which was really nice was messing around with it the most and it was able to off road (they had provided some) might next year hopefully maybe working on a game using that could be nice and could do it multiplier for then end of the year  

What i learned:
that their is a lot of different modes i could do or better yet games completely

What i plan for tomorrow:
i plan to most likely look abit more into how and what has to be done for online games and how all the car stats work's so i can make a second one better at certain  aspects

DAY 62 (JUNE)

What i did today:
found that within the main menu there was an overhang which i fixed as well as laying everything out a little better as well as better up everything.  After that it was getting close to the end of class so i decided to take a look as it got closer to the end of the course i took a look at all the different modes for starting out.  

What i learned:
not too much mainly just more fixing did have some cool idea about different types of games to mess around with in the future

What i plan for tomorrow:
most likely go through and mess around with different tutorial games and see what i could do in the future

DAY 61 (MAY)

What i did today:
found out that i have had the scales off for making the map which resulted in it being about 50 times the size it should be which makes it seem like your an ant so what i have to do is make a new model to be able to use the map so what i might do is go and work on a different map for a bit then come back and might make a new model to use

What i learned:
check to make sure your scaling are the same to what your making your map to your character models through out development

What i plan for tomorrow:
work on making it so you can regen energy and stop you from over jumping because right now you should be able to jump 4 times but you can jump 7

DAY 60 (MAY)

What i did today:
Nothing duplicated else might have just been a glitch sent in a request into unreal to see if i can get any info about it and will say if i get contacted back.  other then that changed the window a bit so that it doesn't have full vision over the whole cavern  

What i learned:
that unreal contact support can take a long time to hear from not instantaneous

What i plan for tomorrow :
hopefully will get messaged back from unreal as well as finish up getting the character moving after getting the HUD showing up
